Using Fingerboards

The most common way of using the fingerboard is to put one’s middle finger on the back end of the fingerboard (otherwise known as the tail end). The index finger would then go in the middle of the board. Because the fingerboard operates much like a regular skateboard, people can often try out new moves with their fingers rather than trying it out with their legs instead. This brings about the benefit of people being able to practice stunts and tricks without hurting themselves.

Sports professionals are able to use these fingerboards as a way to envision tricks that have not been performed yet, but are things the’d like to try.

There are even reduced sized models of urban buildings and landscapes such as stairways, benches, and hand rails. They are used primarily to enhance the skating experience, providing more obstacles and areas to practice the tricks on.
